About Field Fresh Farmers Market
Field Fresh Farmers Market is located in Lot A on Franklin St. at the Frederick Fairgrounds, 797 E. Patrick St., Frederick, MD 21701. We are open every Saturday morning, rain or shine, from the last week of April through the Saturday before Thanksgiving, except the two weeks of The Great Frederick Fair, from 9 am – 1 pm.
The market has been in continuous operation since 1991. Throughout that time, we have changed our name, had 5 location changes, and now can accept SNAP and participate in the Maryland Market Money program. Several of our vendors also accept Farmers Market Nutrition Program and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition checks.
We are a producer only market, all of our vendors are required to grow, raise, or produce the products that they are selling. Our vendor line-up consists of several original members of the market and many others who return year after year, plus new additions each year. All of this is to assure you a complete shopping experience at our market. Our goal is to provide the community with the best local produce and products around.
Our Mission
We chose the new name with the mission of the market in mind; to be a regional, producer only market with emphasis on agricultural products. This ensures that all the products you purchase at our market are made by the seller, come from the local area and are the freshest produce, other than growing your own, as you can possibly get.
